VdS approval for the foam proportioner FD10000/3-S

The FD10000/3-S is one more version of FireDos GEN III proportioners having obtained the VdS approval, proving the compliance with international safety standards.

After a thorough testing process, VdS as an independent institute for business protection and safety has proven the reliability of the foam proportioner FD10000/3-S. These units were developed for installation in stationary fire extinguishing systems and tested in a 3% proportioning rate version by VdS.

"The VdS approval confirms that our proportioners of the newest generation GEN III meet the requirements of international safety standards. A milestone for our international sales," says Frank Preiss, Managing Director of FireDos GmbH. Before the FD10000/3-S, already the foam proportioner FD2000/3-S had been certified by VdS. The approvals for further unit types are in process.

Compared to earlier models, the GEN III proportioners are sturdier, safer and more functional. These units are characterized by numerous improvements, making their use in fire extinguishing systems for the production of extinguishing foam more efficient and convenient.
