New compact M1 fire monitor for stationary fire protection and fire trucks

With the new remote-controlled M1 fire monitor, FireDos has further developed the smallest size in accordance with the requirements of stationary fire protection and fire departments. Installation in the smallest of spaces and on fire trucks is possible without any problems. The selection of nozzles allows for a response to spreading fires and faster extinguishing of large areas.

With its compact dimensions of 470 mm x 255 mm x 360 mm, the new M1 fire monitor is one of the smallest electrically driven monitors in the world and is perfect for use in confined spaces.

Despite its handy size, the M1 fire monitor is available with two different working ranges and delivers extinguishing agent flows between 150 and 1000 l/min or 400 and 2000 l/min. Equipped with 24V DC drives, it can also be operated remotely using the FireDos control system.

Typical applications: Waste incinerations and wild fires

A typical application is stationary fire protection in waste bunkers, recycling plants, ASRS systems or on helicopter landing pads. In addition, the M1 extinguishing monitor can be used as a front monitor on all standard fire trucks, for example, to fight vegetation fires more quickly with the flat jet nozzle.

Nozzles for all application scenarios

Several nozzles are available to optimally adapt the fire monitor to the application environment. The M1 fire monitor can be equipped with the MPN and AMPN multi-purpose nozzles and offers a special version with a wide-angle flat jet.

  • When choosing the MPN multi-purpose nozzle, the extinguishing agent flow is adjusted and tested by our experts in accordance with customer specifications. Stepless switching between hollow and spray jets is possible.
  • The AMPN (Adjustable Multi-Purpose Nozzle) also allows the extinguishing agent flow to be adjusted continuously during operation in order to respond to spreading fires.
  • Optionally, both nozzles of the fire monitor can also be designed as flat jet nozzles. These produce a fan-shaped extinguishing jet which, in contrast to a hollow jet, has a greater range and can therefore extinguish large areas more quickly.
