FireDos says THANK YOU to fire instructor Dieter Nicolai

If you joined us at the Open House – or saw the highlights on LinkedIn – you’ll definitely remember those jaw-dropping live demos of frying-oil and gas explosions.

Big thanks to DieterNicolai, district instructor for basic and advanced firefighter training, who ran these powerful demonstrations with incredible passion – and completely voluntarily.
“I want to raise awareness and help people understand how to stay safe in dangerous situations,” he told us. “Lack of knowledge can be deadly.”

What many don’t realize: he covers all his equipment himself – even the fire truck. That’s why he really appreciates support from companies like ours. So today, we were happy to hand over one small but meaningful item he wished for: a fire bucket pump, presented by our Managing Director Frank Preiss.
He’ll use it mostly in demonstrations for kids – letting them try target-squirting with water and have fun while learning.

And yes, the frying-oil explosion? Once you’ve seen it, you’ll never throw water on a burning pan again. Promise!
